alison Alison Crossley, founding member of Lago, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Flute Performance from Carnegie Mellon University. She is currently living and working in Manhattan while pursuing her Masters at New York University. Recently, she has been the principal flutist for many of NYU Steinhardt’s musical productions, including Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges and the school’s mainstage production of Richard Nash’s 110 In The Shade. She has participated in many festivals such as the Lake Placid Flute Seminar, Brevard Conference on Music Entrepreneurship, Eastern Music Festival and at the Music and Opera Festival in Pescara, Italy. Alison coaches the Flute Ensemble and Flute Quartet at Ridgewood High School, NJ. Her teachers include Eugenia Zukerman, Jeannie Baxtresser, Alberto Almarza, Mary Ann Archer and Albert Regni.
